		<description><![CDATA[After graduating from St. Joseph&#8217;s College in 1968, Mary Jo Rice-Mahoney served 30 years in the Army Nurse Corps, retiring with the rank of colonel. She is also retired from the New Jersey Veterans Administration healthcare system. During her service in Vietnam, she and several other nurse classmates were assigned to the same hospital.
